Frequently Asked Questions
Is A Farm Stand free to use?
Yes — searching for and browsing listings is completely free for customers. Listing a farm stand or home-made goods business has a small annual listing fee ($60/year by default), plus optional paid upgrades for extra visibility.
How do I find farm stands near me?
Use the search bar on the homepage or Browse page and enter your city, town, or ZIP code. You can also browse the interactive map.
How do I know if a farm stand is open right now?
Every listing shows a live Open Now, Closing Soon, or Closed status based on the hours the owner has entered.
Can I ask a farm stand a question before I visit?
Yes — every listing has an "Ask the Farmer" section. Sign in, ask your question, and the owner will be notified to reply.
How do I list my farm stand or crafts business?
Click "Add Your Stand" in the header, fill out your details, hours, and products, then submit. We'll be in touch to collect the annual listing fee in person — once payment is confirmed, most listings are reviewed and approved within 1-2 business days.
Can I pay online?
Not at this time — listing and featured placement fees are collected in person (cash, check, or however your local team accepts payment). After you submit a listing or request featured placement, we'll reach out to arrange it.
What happens when my listing fee is due for renewal?
Your listing stays public for one year from the date you pay. If it lapses, the listing is hidden from search and the map until you renew — your owner dashboard shows your paid-through date and a one-click renew button.
How do I update what I have available?
Once your listing is approved, sign in and go to your Owner Dashboard. The "Today's Availability" section lets you mark items available, limited, sold out, coming soon, or seasonal in a couple of taps.
What if I see incorrect information on a listing?
Use the "Report a Listing" link at the bottom of any farm stand page, or in the site footer, to flag it for our team.
